DRUMMOND MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL
"Linking Learning to Life"

Mission
The mission of Drummond Middle/High School is to promote high learning standards, cultivate pride in workmanship among students and staff, provide hands-on learning experiences, and to prepare students for future technologies.  The school provides the means for allowing all students to cultivate and explore areas of interest and help students develop a plan to tie these interests into their future occupational goals.  When students take responsibility for their own learning, they will become more self-disciplined and better able to function successfully in society.

Overview

Welcome to Drummond Middle/High School!  We are located in the middle of the beautiful Chequamegon/Nicolet National Forest of northwest Wisconsin.  Our school serves approximately 200 students in grades 7-12.

We provide a comprehensive curriculum that enables students to be prepared for their post-secondary future.  We have a rich tradition of athletic and co-curricular offerings that enhances the school experience for our students. Our facility is well maintained and equipped with the most up to date technologies, which provides a great learning environment for our students.

Our greatest resource is our highly qualified, experienced and supportive staff. We are all committed to helping students achieve their utmost potential.  At Drummond MS/HS we practice the three "R's": building RELATIONSHIPS, and making learning RIGOROUS and RELEVANT

GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT DRUMMOND MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL!

Sophomores and Juniors:  Are you looking for a high-demand career? Interested in the welding trade?  There is a unique opportunity for the first 10 students who sign up to attend a Welding Camp at Drummond this summer, from July 8- 18.  The class runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 - 4:30 with lunch provided.

Participants will get hands-on training in welding, 2 WITC credits, a free pair of steel toed boots (for welding), and a welding kit.  This is a dual credit opportunity, so students will also receive high school credit.  For more details and to sign up, please Mrs. Nelson or Ms. Kaiser.
